THE QUEEN’S
PORTRAIT.

Alice is asked to paint the Queen’s portrait. One brushstroke too many changes everything.

MADE IN
A DAY.

Built with Nura Showcraft during Machine Cinema’s Nura Showcraft: GenJam @ TIFF in Toronto in September 2026. The hands-on creation sprint invited filmmakers to make a short film and share it at the event’s closing showcase.

The project moves from a character and environment look to a nine-beat visual sequence: the Queen, Alice, the portrait, and a dangerous smile.
